Anna lived in Sweden with her Mother and sister. When they joined the LDS church her mother was fired from her job and had difficulty supporting her two girls. She sent them to America for a better life. Ida went to Idaho and Anna went to Salt Lake City to live with her aunt. She arrived by train in Salt Lake City late at night and no one was there to greet her. She didn't speak English and didn't know what to do. Her mother had told her before she left if no one could understand her that she was to remember that Heavenly Father could. She prayed and a Heavenly Father's miracle happened.
