You may think you know a lot, but you probably don't know that there is another entire city beneath New York City, one made by and for the Anybodies.

There you can find Bing Chubb's Ballpark, Hyun's Dollar Fiesta, and the glorious ever-changing Willy Fattler's Underground Hotel. . . . Oh, it's a fabulous place, one where nothing ordinary can be found. (Do you think that a soul-eating, book-killing Blue Queen lusting for power is ordinary? Shake your head here. I didn't think so.)

Here's the thing: the city beneath the city is in danger. Somebody has to save it, and if anybody is going to, nobody is better than everybody's favorite Anybodies: Fern and Howard. (Of course, they thought they were just jumping into a magical invitation from the Secret Society of Somebodies to avoid being sent away to a horrible faraway school. But things aren't always what they seem, are they?)

Do you need any more convincing? Really, this book won't sit around forever, waiting to be read. It might turn into an apple or a tin of jellied meats. Did I stutter? Turn that page!
