This collection of eight research papers covers such topics as dust storms in northern China, satellite remote sensing of dust storms and meteorology and dust storms. Also included are two loosely related papers on solar and wind energy and the Mars Global Surveyor. The articles, written by authors associated with universities from a variety of countries around the world, range from six to sixty pages in length and vary in their depth of notation and citation. While the selections are all generally about dust or atmosphere in general, it is not clear that this collection follows any one theme or that there is any particular connection between the articles in this volume.
