This workbook for clinicians, presented in a three-ring binder, contains 111 reproducible exercises and activities for working with adolescents and adults having language and cognitive impairments. Exercises, which involve word formation, familiar phrases, definition usage, letter placement, visual logic, and logical solutions, are of different lengths and complexity and can be completed in any order. This edition includes new activities, revised questions, two user's guides, an assignments page, and has been revised and updated. The new CLUES section helps patients with varying levels of function complete the exercises. Directions have been rewritten, the print is larger, and the format has been changed for easier reading. Brubaker has worked in speech and language pathology focusing on adults who have suffered communicative loss as a result of neurological dysfunction or brain injury.
