Buhler (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) constructs bounded cohomology as if it were the classical derived functor of the G-invariants. The article proves that the derived categories of right bounded and left bounded complexes of Banach G-modules are equivalent to the derived category of two abelian categories, a consequence of the theory of abstract truncation and hearts of t-structures.
