The Forgiveness Project is a UK-based charity that gathers individual personal narratives to demonstrate how forgiveness, reconciliation, and conflict resolution can help break the cycle of violence. The Forgiveness Project’s exhibition, “The F Word,” has been exhibited worldwide. Like “The F Word,” this book is a collection of brief personal narratives and black and white photo portraits exploring forgiveness from both secular and religious perspectives. Survivors of abuse, violence, war, terrorism, and genocide discuss their experiences of forgiving those who have harmed them. In an introduction, editor Marina Cantacuzino, founder of The Forgiveness Project, explains the origins of the project and also reflects on philosophical and historical perspectives of forgiveness. The book also contains a foreword by Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu. Annotation ©2015 Ringgold, Inc., Portland, OR (protoview.com)
