This festschrift honors Edgar Gold, retired in 2011 from the T.C. Beirne School of Law, U. of Queensland, Australia. He moved back to Australia (where he was born) after having lived in Halifax, Canada for three decades affiliated there with Dalhousie Law School and the Dalhousie Ocean Studies Programme, which he helped found.
