Collecting posters created by contemporary independent graphic designers and illustrators to advertise runs of films at independent venues, this book resembles a book of concert posters more than a book of standard film posters. Each artist is represented by one or two posters. A sidebar gives the design firm, if any, location, and site. A color reproduction of one poster covers most of each page, with a small space at the bottom for a brief paragraph of information by the artist on their influences and style.
