Others: A Magazine of the New Verse ran only from 1915 to 1919 and peaked at 300 subscribers, says Churchill (English, Davidson College, US), but it helped launch the careers of many of the most innovative and influential modernist American poets, and provided a staging ground for the modernist offensive. After describing the milieu of little magazines and free verse, she looks at making space, interior designs, William Carlos Williams, Miranne Moore, and Mino Loy.
