Temple Barr is a PR hotshot who makes things happen on the Las Vegas scene. This feisty redhead's latest gig is promoting a weeklong televised charity event, Dancing with the Celebs. Temple's got the perfect celebrity for the show: her fiance, Matt Devine, who happens to be a successful late-night radio-show host. He's a little dubious but agrees to the scheme. But while Matt struggles to master the sexy moves of the tango, accidents cripple the production, and it becomes clear that a killer stalks the dance floor.
Temple isn't one to stand on the sidelines while those she loves are in danger, so she resurrects her kicky teen persona, Zoe Chloe Ozone, and becomes a contestant on the show. Standing in her way is police detective Lieutenant Molina, who has had Temple's "help" on past cases and knows that whenever Temple appears, somehow, through no fault of her own, the dead bodies start showing up.
Where is Temple's favorite furry dance partner, Midnight Louie? He's finessed his way onto the set to make sure his humans don't fox-trot into a fatal misstep.
