A decade after his dramatic ?death,? the detective roared back to life in ?The Adventure of the Empty House.? That story, and the other five collected here, date from this later period. All were featured in Granada?s classic television series of the 1990s, starring reader Edward Hardwicke as Dr. Watson, who helped compile this collection.
