Aerospace engineer Dreier has been working on digital, analog, and hybrid simulations of helicopters, tilt-rotors, and wind turbines. He is concerned that engineering curricula are not preparing the next generation of rotor-craft engineers, and that both graduates and grizzled veterans avoid mathematics and go for the quick fix.
