Famous for his silkscreen print landscapes of the California countryside, Earle (d. 2000), who used a distinctive style that merged graphically pristine lines and beautifully controlled and vibrant colors, was instrumental in making silkscreen printmaking an art medium of choice. Earle's influence was also significant in animation; he spent years at Walt Disney, where he was an artist for the movies Sleeping beauty, Lady and the Tramp, Peter Pan, and others. Published in an oversized format (10.5x13"), this volume is the second of two volumes of his complete works, presenting Earle's prints in full-page color plates of superb quality with poems, drawings, and writings by the artist on the facing page.
