This is his first book, a sequence of over 70 head-shots taken during the last decade by leading photographers David Sims, Steven Klein and Paul Wetherell. The images, many of which are previously unpublished, convey raw energy and individual attitude. Each head of hair, whether familiar or unknown, speaks powerfully for itself. But there is an underlying unity to the images through Guido's approach to beauty as a variable that we can, and should, define for ourselves. In a brief foreword he delineates the ideas which have inspired him to create work now recognized as the most inventive in its field and mould-breaking in far wider terms.
