In March 1984 the United Freedom Front bombed a corporate office in Harrison, New York. In November 2003 the Indiana Holocaust Memorial Museum was destroyed by arson. These and over 3000 other incidents of terrorism and organized political violence in the US and Puerto Rico are listed here chronologically from 1954 through 2004. They include events linked to international, émigré or domestic political or social forces through forensic evidence, by claims from organizations or individuals, or because the event appears to be part of a pattern or indicates extremist ideology was the prime motivation. Each entry includes the date, place, types of incident (such as bombing, shooting or vandalism), the groups held responsible and a brief description of the event.
