The images of the Victoria Theater ("the Vic"), schools, parks, churches, businesses, collieries, and citizens present a rich and complex tapestry of a close-knit, vibrant community that includes Mahanoy City and surrounding villages or "patches" such as New Boston, Delano, St. Nicholas, and Barnesville.
