Peter the Cruise Ship is ready to set out on a trip and is looking forward to new adventures. We see his captain and engineer. Out at sea, he meets his friends, 'Slick' the container ship, 'Push' the tugboat, 'Gulp' the tanker and 'Rusty' the old cargo ship. A map of the world shows him and his friends in various places around the globe. Then it is getting dark and at dawn the weather changes and a storm starts. He hears somebody crying for help in the distance, and rushes over to help. He finds out that 'Rusty' is in trouble and to his surprise, also 'Push' the tugboat is there to help. Until now, nobody liked 'Push', as he is always bumping into others. Together, they manage to help 'Rusty' and after that, Peter, in a hurry now, rushes to get to his next port in time. By mistake, he drops his anchor on top of 'Fluke' the whale, who is having breakfast with his family. Fluke, of course is angry, and Peter apologizes. At the end of the day he leaves again, and arrives back in his home port, ready for new adventures.
