Trained as a nurse and risk manager, Orlando-based Moghadas has been a health care consultant and educator since 1984, and is a contributing editor to several medical management magazines, including Medical Economics and AMA News. Her text will assist new physicians in assembling the forms, templates, and checklists needed to facilitate the smooth operation of their medical practices. The materials are organized into several general topic areas: starting a practice, practice organization, business office, revenue cycle, OSHA, CLIA, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), clinical processes and forms, and human resources and staff development.
