Mnller came to Auschwitz with one of the earliest transports from Slovakia in April 1942, and was forced to work in the gassing installations and crematoria. He was still alive when the gassings ceased in November 1944. He is one of the few prisoners who lived to tell of the horrors of Auschwitz, and his account is one of the key documents of the Holocaust. Includes b&w maps and a glossary. Lacks a subject index.
