Ogden presents a practical outline of her "integrating sexuality and spirituality" (ISIS) approach to sex therapy, which employs a medicine wheel. It is written especially for sex therapists and aims to take sex therapy beyond quantitative approaches, behavioral treatments and pharmaceutical interventions. In this regard, it focuses on narrative and is focused on the client as a person and their sexual health as something much more than an absence or presence of dysfunction. There are four parts to book. The first introduces the ISIS survey, which stresses qualitative questions about how sex feels and what it means in respondents' lives. She explains how this survey changed how she approached her practice. The second outlines the wheel of ISIS, which is a heuristic based on four quadrants of meaning-making: the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. This is mostly theory. The third section focuses on practice and implementing the wheel in training seminars, and in individual and couple's therapy. The last section is on training and personally exploring ISIS.
