This book/CD-ROM study guide contains about 5,000 questions total, in multiple choice, multiple response, fill-in-the-blank, drag-and-drop, and chart/exhibit formats. Among these are 1,370 alternate-item format questions, 900 pharmacology questions, and 1,190 questions supported by evidence-based practice citations. The first section offers test- taking tips and strategies, as well as tips for international and repeat test-takers. The question section features questions on the left side and answers on the right (with a detachable bookmark to cover answers). Answers include rationales for each choice, and notes on content area, category, client need, and cognitive level, plus references. The book contains seven practice tests and two 75-question exams. The CD-ROM allows readers to design their own exams. A web site contains graphic and audio format questions plus podcasts of study strategies. Ohman teaches at St. John's University.
