Topics discussed include climate and soils, cultivation, tree management and harvest technology and individual chapters address specific fruits including, cherimoya and other Annonas, bananas, avocados, litchi, mangos, papayas and pineapples. Paull is a professor of horticulture at the University of Hawaii and Duarte is the former head of the fruit crops program at the Zamorano Pan-American Agricultural School in Honduras.
