The marketplace in the Greek capital was excavated between 1931 and 1967, and Walbank has been systematically looking for all inscription fragments from it that have not been previously published. Here he presents texts from 100 fragments of decrees of the Athenian body politic and subdivisions of it, including some dealing with councilors and their officers, and some listing and honoring young men who had completed their higher education and military training. The date range is from the beginning of the fourth century to the end of the second BC. He describes each fragment by inventory number, marble type, date and place of discovery, physical condition, dimensions, and letter height and spacing. The Greek is not translated.
