This book/DVD is intended for engineers and students at graduate level and above. An introductory chapter reviews concepts of radio propagation, mobile-to-mobile communication systems, and the statistical characteristics used to describe wireless communication channel. After a chapter on fixed-to-mobile cellular radio channel modeling, the book then covers typical mobile-to-mobile communication scenarios:vehicle-to-vehicle, air-to-ground, and underwater vehicle-to-underwater vehicle acoustic channels. A 17-page math appendix reviews concepts of probability and random processes. There is also an appendix giving examples of MATLAB-based simulators for the types of channels covered in the book, with explanations of how to use them.
